Job Description: Hop and Wine Beverage is looking for an outgoing individual to join our Sales team as an Lead Sales Support for the NOVA.D.C. area. Idea candidate must reside in Northern Virginia and/or mind commuting to D.C. on occasion. Must be able to cover a Sun-Thurs or Mon-Fri route since our current sales force works either schedule.

SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting Area Sales Manager with directing and developing Account Managers and Merchandising Team

MAIN TASKS/JOB DUTIES/GOALS:

• Reports to Area Sales Manager
• Become fully acquainted with the EoMobile System (entering orders, tracking orders)
• Train and Develop Account Managers and Merchandisers
• Covering Sales and Merchandising routes when needed
• Covering Resets
• Assist in routing and adjusting acct. managers and merchandising schedules
• Report Back to National Accounts Manager any job performance issues and lack of execution
• when projects are sold in by the National Accounts Manager.
• Ensure all the grocery retailers are provided the service levels expected by Hop and Wine.
• Grow sales volume in assigned territory/route.
• Execute and close sales calls
• Follow up and close any provided/gained leads: including researching new, potential opportunities within territory
• Obtain appointments and or cold call to aggressively pursue new accounts
• Regularly visit current customers to grow the existing business with account
• Place and transmit appropriate orders for customers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
• Transport, replace, and maintain POS/marketing material
• Report regularly to management on weekly activities including goals, sales, prospects, and leads
• Participate in work-with with managers, vendors and other HWB personnel
• Attend and participate in monthly Sales Meetings at HWB offices
• Provide route coverage where necessary
• Clean/troubleshoot draft lines and equipment as needed
• Other duties as directed or assigned by supervisors/managers

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Candidate must have proven track record of sales success in growing market share with current and prospective customers. Must be updated on computer skills and able to adapt to new applications, able to self-motivate and work effectively on own. Candidate should also project the following attributes: problem solver, decision maker, detail oriented, self-starter, accurate, good with numbers, and well organized.
